Get ready for La Jolla's premier outdoor music festival. This event is FREE to attend! Shop, socialize, and play in support of local artists and businesses at this inclusive and family-friendly community event hosted by the Bird Rock Community Council.
Featuring host Rick Savage of 91X on the Big Wave Stage!
Rick is 91X’s Music Director and on the air every weekday from 6am-12pm. A Poway kid raised on 91X, his journey in radio began with a stint at the station in the early 2000’s and led to positions at KROQ, Apple Music, the NFL and more. Favorite artists include Green Day, Rancid, Unwritten Law, Agent 51, The Clash, and Kendrick Lamar.

This is an all ages event, complete with family-, kid-, and pet-friendly activities. We'll have tons of entertainment for the littles...including your fur babies! We will be hosting pro skate and BMX performances on a half-pipe, custom hat bar, BirdStock merch, pet adoption zone, bouncy houses, and dunk tank. This is an all-ages event!

The Bird Stock Music Festival is a non-profit charitable event to give back to our local school, coastlines, and community. Our beneficiaries this year are arts and music programs at Bird Rock Elementary and the La Jolla Coastal Conservancy. Your attendance and donations make a huge positive impact!

Our Purpose
The mission of the Bird Rock Community Council is to engage in all activities that enhance the growth and improvement of Bird Rock as a vibrant and diverse neighborhood, including:
- Administering the Bird Rock Maintenance Assessment District
- Enhancing the quality of public amenities in the neighborhood
- Supporting educational, cultural, artistic, charitable, and community service activities
- Improving the quality of life and economic well-being of Bird Rock residents, property owners, employees and businesses
- Promoting a safe and inviting village atmosphere
- Maintaining a healthy business environment along La Jolla Boulevard
- Honoring Bird Rock's history and preserving its unique identity within the community of La Jolla
